Worldwide Information Technology Solutions (WITS), Inc is pioneering the Broadband Power Line Communications (BPL/PLC) technology particularly in the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. The company is focused on building infrastructure for broadband access and offers a wide array of network services including LAN, WAN, Virtual Private Networks, Telecommunication Networks, Voice mail/data networks, Intranet services, etc.

Using the BPL technology mainly or in support of an existing DSL or wireless set-up needing strengthened connectivity, the company offers IP- enabled Intelligent Asset Management and Process Control Systems for all industries especially for the utilities sector such as power, water and gas.

The SMART Grid Solution is one of the main offerings of WITS using the PLUS BPL/PLC technology. It enables Power Utilities (PU) to effectively distribute, manage, and control the electricity grid by providing the PUs with the intelligence required to implement transparent, real time, two way, self-monitoring data networks for power management including recovery from systems losses.

Now known as the “third pipe”, BPL is being introduced by WITS to the telecommunications industry, making it possible for telecommunication companies to rapidly expand their reach to far flung areas using fast, stable, secure and fixed or wired “last mile“ solution .

The Company likewise specializes in mission-critical security and surveillance systems as well as intelligent buildings and smart home systems using the BPL with its “real time” application and “plug and play” mode of operation.

In 2007, WITS birthed TechEdge Philippines,Inc., an internet service provider and value added reseller of the BPL technology. TechEdge currently handles the provisioning of internet access in both vertical and sprawling communities. It also builds WAN, LAN and PVN networks and is engaged in the whole spectrum of security and surveillance as well as smart homes and intelligent building projects.

In the same year, WITS also gave birth to WITS UAE- ARIAL Global Systems, a company in Dubai which currently handles all of WITS thrusts in the UAE market. ARIAL Global Systems has recently also been appointed sole agent and exclusive representative of WITS Inc in the United Arab Emirates.
